By bringing together some of the world’s brightest boat builders, mechanics and electricians, we are pushing the boundaries of marine transportation. Our production workers have an important job in ensuring the best possible quality and technical performance of our boats. Our internal motto is “with a revolutionary spirit and kindness”, which translates into an open and honest work environment.

Our production is growing and we are now looking for new talents to join our production team. We are currently 200+ colleagues working at Candela with 45+ different nationalities. We all have various backgrounds and together we are working towards the same goal, to push the performance boundaries of electric boats and ships.

 

FAQ

  • We are looking for people with various experiences and backgrounds. If you have experience of boat building since before that is great, if you do not, then you'll learn. It is however meritous if you have some experience with working with your hands. 

  • Everyone employed by Candela is offered an initial temporary probationary period of six months which automatically turns into a permanent employment if everything goes well. During the probationary period, the notice period is two weeks. Thereafter the notice period is two months. 

  • No, you do not need experience from boats but it is meritous if you do.

  • Our employees are important to us. We offer all of our employees a wellness allowance of 3500 SEK each year. All production employees also have the opportunity to enjoy some well deserved time off with our 25 days paid vacation.

  • Unfortunately no, we are unable to process CV:s and cover letters received via email due to GDPR. We therefore encourage you to applying through our career page. 

  • We screen applications continuously, and will try to get back to you as soon as possible. In times of high application volumes this may take a while but please be patient and trust that we are working as hard as we can to give you an answer.
