Office recruitment process
1. Apply
Submit your application through our careers page. We review every application carefully and focus on your skills, experience, and potential - not just keywords or job titles.
2. First interview - get to know you
If your profile matches the role, you’ll meet our talent acquisition team for an initial 30 – 45 minute conversation. We’ll talk about your experience, motivations, and what you’re looking for next – while also sharing more about us, the role, and our teams.
3. Assessment (if applicable)
For many roles, we use structured assessments to support fair and objective hiring. These may include problem-solving tasks, cognitive ability tests, or role relevant case work.
3. Hiring manager interview & deep dives
Depending on the role, you’ll meet the Hiring Manager. This conversation focusses on your expertise, how you approach problems, and how you collaborate in practice. For some roles, this stage may include a case exercise or practical discussion.
4. Last interview – case interview & leadership assessment
In the final stage, you’ll meet the Hiring Manager, their manager, and selected team members. You’ll discuss a real-world case relevant to the role, giving us insight into how you approach problem-solving, decision-making, and collaboration. The stage also includes a short conversation with an HR representative covering leadership style, motivation, and overall fit with Candela’s culture and values.
5. Final steps & references
Before moving to an offer, we may carry out reference checks to better understand your experience and impact. In some cases, additional conversations with stakeholders or HR may also be part of the process.
6. Offer discussion
If you’re selected, you’ll meet with talent acquisition to go through your offer, discuss details, and answer any questions you may have.
7. Formal offer
Your offer is sent digitally for review and signature.
8. Pre-employment check (if applicable)
Some roles may require a standard health or background check before your start date. You will be notified if any applicable checks are part of the job via the application form.
9. Onboarding
Welcome aboard. From day one, we’ll make sure you have the support, tools and training you need to succeed and become part of the team.
