Meet Marta Soares

I’m currently working as Interim Head of Supply Chain. I joined Candela as a Production Quality Specialist, working closely with production teams to strengthen quality and improve how we solve problems. After three years, I had the opportunity to lead a team and move into Supply Chain - a completely new area for me.

It’s been both challenging and rewarding, and a great opportunity to keep learning and growing. I’m grateful for the trust I’ve been given and the opportunities to take on new responsibilities.

I love working at Candela. We’re building something amazing and highly innovative, and I feel proud whenever I hear people outside the company talking about Candela and what we’re doing.

But for me, the best part is the people. We have an incredible team where people are friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help and go the extra mile when needed. I really enjoy being part of a team where everyone is working toward the same goal and where you can see the impact of what you do.

My team makes sure the right materials are available at the right time, so production can keep moving and we can deliver boats to our customers. Much of our work happens behind the scenes, but it has a direct impact on turning Candela’s technology and innovation into boats that are actually on the water.

Go for it! Candela is a great place to learn, grow, take responsibility, and make an impact. My own journey shows that there are opportunities to move into new areas and take on new challenges - if you’re open to learning and taking initiative.
