What’s your journey at Candela been like?
I joined Candela in late 2022 as part of the newly created product team, in the role of Product owner technology. At the time the team responsibilities and my own role were yet to be shaped. Along those years I've always focused on identifying how my role can serve Candela best and propel technology development forward. It has been an extraordinary journey personally, but also for the product itself and the company. I would do it all over again, and hope the next years have more exciting challenges to give, I know they have.
What do you enjoy working with Candela?
Working at Candela gives me the opportunity to collaborate with great colleagues while working on a truly unique product. As an engineer, it’s a real privilege to be part of developing a carbon-fiber electric hydrofoiling boat. It brings together so many advanced engineering disciplines, making the work both challenging and incredibly exciting.
How does your role contribute to Candela’s mission?
My role, and the other roles in the product team, ensure the advanced technologies that sit "Under the hood" meet external stakeholder expectations and requirements, ultimately granting market access across the globe.
What would you tell someone who's thinking about joining the team?
I would tell them that it will be quite a ride to jump on, so do it.
