Meet Emad Keyvani

I joined Candela in September 2025 as a Senior Quality Engineer, bringing a quality background from the automotive industry. My role centres on ensuring the quality and reliability of our production processes and meeting customers' requirements, working closely with production, R&D, and manufacturing engineering teams. Since day one, my focus has been on bridging these disciplines - translating quality requirements into practical, workable processes on the shop floor and making sure the standards we set are understood and owned by the people building the boats.

I enjoy most the collaboration across divisions - quality doesn't live in a silo here, and I get to work closely with people from production, engineering, and R&D every day. I also really value conducting training sessions on quality principles for both operators and engineers. Seeing someone go from "why does this matter" to genuinely understanding and applying a quality concept is one of the most rewarding parts of the job.

Candela's mission is to deliver a high-tech, green, and reliable product and that reliability is where I focus most of my energy. Every process improvement, training session, or audit preparation I work on is ultimately about making sure what we build matches that promise: a boat that performs, holds up, and reflects the ambition of the technology inside it.
